Although some symptoms and conditions may result in a referral to in-person care, 98point6 can help with a variety of behavioral health issues. These include, but are not limited to:
Anxiety/Depression
Here's how we can help:
Anxiety and depression are commonly seen conditions in the 98point6 clinic. If you are experiencing symptoms, our physicians are equipped with tools to help make a formal diagnosis and create a treatment plan.
In addition to discussing lifestyle recommendations, including sleep, diet and exercise, we can prescribe medications which are recommended for first-line treatment. Due to state and federal regulations around the virtual practice of medicine, our physicians cannot prescribe benzodiazepines (such as Xanax, Ativan and Valium). There are also some psychiatric medications that require additional monitoring that we do not prescribe, such as Seroquel, Lamictal or Lithium.
ADHD
Here's how we can help:
ADD and ADHD are conditions which require a full evaluation to determine the best course of treatment. If your symptoms are suggestive of one of these disorders, we will help you find the best place to continue your care.
We cannot prescribe ADHD medications such as Adderall, Ritalin, Concerta, Vyvanse, Strattera, Dexedrine and Focalin.
Insomnia
Here's how we can help:
There are many options for treating insomnia, and some of those involve medications we prescribe. We can also provide information and resources about healthy sleep habits.
We cannot prescribe controlled sleep medications such as Ambien, Lunesta and Sonata.
