Yes, our doctors can prescribe medication, order labs and provide doctor’s notes, when appropriate. In your initial visit, you’ll be asked to add your local pharmacy to your profile; make sure to complete this step. If a physician decides a prescription is part of your treatment plan, we’ll send it to your preferred pharmacy at the end of your visit.
Please note that although we do not prescribe controlled substances (such as Percocet or Vicodin), muscle relaxants (such as Flexeril), lifestyle medications (such as Viagra and Propecia) or medications that require strict monitoring, our physicians can still be a resource for patients looking to address related conditions. We can assess symptoms, discuss potentially underlying issues, provide lifestyle and alternative recommendations and answer any questions you may have. We can also guide you towards the right in-person specialist who may be able to prescribe the medication you need.
